Ava Seaney Cannon has been coming to Rehoboth and Dewey Beach since she graduated from the University of Florida in 1986. She and her husband, Gary (of Gary’s Dewey Beach Grill) made Rehoboth their home in 1994 and are raising three children here. She is active in the local community, creating and organizing the Dewey Beach Triathlon for the past 12 years and serving on the board of the Sussex Family YMCA. Ava was the recipient of the 2005 “Mary Alice Devane Spirit Award” for her significant commitment to that organization.
