Rental Unit Check In & Check Out

Check-In Time is 2:00 P.M.

Keys will not be given out before 2pm and if you are arriving after 5pm Monday, 5pm Saturday or after 4pm on Sunday check with your agent.

Check-Out Time is 10:00 A.M.

Keys and permits must be returned to our office promptly by 10:00 a.m. If you are checking out early and our office is not open, please place your keys and permits in the drop slot located to the right of our front door. There is a $5.00 charge for each lost key.

Tenants and tenants' belongings must be removed from the property no later than 10 a.m. Vehicles must also be removed from the property by 10 a.m. or vehicle may be towed at the tenant's expense.  Our landlords are opening their homes to you, please be considerate and leave the homes clean and orderly.

Your at Check-Out Checklist

  1. Remove all food from refrigerator and cabinets.
  2. Leave dishes and cooking utensils cleaned and stored properly.
  3. Bag up trash and place it in the proper receptacle or location.
  4. Remove your linens and put spreads back on beds.
  5. Furniture is to be left arranged as you found it. Balcony and decks should be orderly.
  6. Please close and lock all windows and doors.
  7. Reconnect any TV cables.
  8. Leave remotes with TV.
  9. Clean grill and outside shower.

About Items Left Behind

We cannot be responsible for finding and returning items you have left behind. After the car is packed but before you leave the driveway, walk through the property one more time. Check closets and drawers so that nothing is forgotten. If we are able to locate and return items for you a service charge of $20.00 plus postage and packing will be assesed. We will contact you for credit card information to have the items returned to you via UPS.

 

Cleaning & Linens

Cleaning

While we strive to have all units cleaned and checked prior to 2 p.m., sometimes it is impossible- therefore, cleaning companies have until 6:30 p.m. to complete the cleaning of your unit. If you arrive before your unit has been cleaned, please call 227-3883 to report and leave all of your belongings together so the cleaners can work more efficiently. Thank you.

Linens

Our rental units DO NOT INCLUDE bed or bath linens.  Bed sizes are printed on your lease agreement.  (Ask your agent for details)  Please leave the house neat, beds made, the fridge empty, and the trash out to avoid extra cleaning charge.

 

Rental Policies

Welcome to your Delaware beaches vacation rental. We hope you enjoy your stay with us. Please take a few moments to read the information below to help make your stay a pleasant one.

AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY

In case of an extreme emergency after normal office hours call our office at 227-3883 and press 3 and follow the instructions to reach our after hours emergency answering service. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. This is for emercency call only. All non-emergency calls wil be handeled the next business day. Please note that equipment failure and cleaning are not considered emergencies.

Lock-Outs

If you lock yourself out after hours, you may call the above emergency number. A $25.00 lock-out fee will be charged at the time of service.

Rental Tax

The towns of Rehoboth Beach and Henlopen Acres charge a 3% rental tax.  This is charged in addition to your rent on properties in these two areas only.

Reservation Fee

A $50.00 reservation fee is charged in addition to the rent on all rental reservations.

Balance of Rent

A check for your final balance is due in our office 30 days prior to your check in.

Messages

We do not deliver messages. Please make arrangements to pick up messages at our office.

Telephone Charges

Please charge all long distance or information calls to your credit card or home number. A $20.00 service charge will be added to all telephone bills we have to collect on behalf of the landlords

Cancellation Policy

Your deposit is non-refundable. In case of cancellation transfer, or change in your reservation, NO REFUND WILL BE MADE unless the unit is re-rented for the cancelled period and the owner is fully compensated. You will be charged a 15% cancellation fee if unit is re-rented.  Ask your agent about our new CSA Travel Insurance!

Rental Capacity

Please check the number of people each rental sleeps as indicated in the descriptions.  This represents the maximum number of people, including children, allowed to stay in the property.

Equipment

All rentals are furnished with dishes, cookware, silverware, and glassware, coffee makers, toasters, TV's, pillows, and bedspreads.  Other small appliances, grills, and beach chairs are usually not providedAsk your agent for details.

Accidental Damage Waiver

A $50.00 Accidental damage waiver fee is charged on every weekly rental.  This covers any "Accidental Damage" up to $500.00.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in our rental units. Pets in rental units are grounds for immediate termination of the rental agreement with cleaning and extermination charges billed to the tenant unless you have a Pet Friendly property. No pets are permitted in our rental units unless designated as pet friendly in the property description.  However, we cannot guarantee that pets have never occupied our rental properties. If you have a severe allergies, please disclose to your agent.
