Held in September when the weather is just perfect, the music scene in one small town really revs up! Attracting artists from across America, fans and musicians alike gather in Dewey to attend performance showcases and let their true talents shine.
Held every year in Dewey Beach and recently seen on ABC's national morning show "Good Morning America"! For over 10 years now, usually held in the fall, this event attracts thousands of people along with their retired racing greyhounds to the “Greyhounds Reach the Beach” weekend in Dewey Beach, DE. One highlight of the weekend includes the Greyhounds in Art original art show at The Ruddertowne Complex.

Only surf fisherman with a surf fishing permit, are allowed to drive onto the beach. This grants you a license plate and sticker to gain access to the beach entrances. You vehicle must have 7 inches clearance. Permits are in effect year round.
