About Marissa

Marissa Murr is originally from San Antonio, TX, she moved to Lewes, DE in 2006. After graduating from Cape Henlopen High School in 2011, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of Delaware.

While at the University of Delaware, Marissa learned the keys to effective marketing, including digital marketing, advertising, international marketing, and effective writing. She also had the opportunity to travel to Australia and New Zealand, where she met and learned from successful
executives in international companies.

Following graduation, Marissa returned to the Delaware Beaches with the desire to make the area her home while applying her marketing skills to a diverse community. Having grown up within a family of successful REALTORS® stepping into the real estate industry was a natural fit.

In 2015, Marissa joined one of the top-producing teams in Delaware which specialized in luxury real estate. Serving as the team's marketing coordinator she was given invaluable experience in learning how to market and sell high-end real estate, provide top-tier service, and produce timely and profitable sales.

Marissa continuously expanded her role and accepted additional opportunities to grow her career in the real estate industry. After becoming an active sales agent in 2018, she was named a Five Star Rising Agent. This award is given to less than 3% of agents in the state. In 2024, Marissa made the decision to venture out on her own and become an independent agent.

In her spare time, you can find Marissa enjoying time with her husband and two sons, serving at her local church, or exploring her passion for food through cooking.
