We wanted to take a moment to share our recent experience working with Mike Rodriguez to purchase a property in Rehoboth Beach. Simply stated, he is the BEST. We reached out to the Jack Lingo rental office after renting in the area for a few years and asked for a realtor reference. We were connected with Mike and from our first interaction with him, he treated us like we were his most important clients.
He was responsive, thoughtful, and flexible. He helped us not only find properties to consider, but met with us on our schedule, which often involved weekend visits when we could make it to Rehoboth from DC, but when that meant time away from his family. He considered our specific needs, provided thoughtful advice, and encouraged us throughout the entire search and contracting process.
When the financing we’d lined up started to go sideways because of the type of property we were attempting to buy, Mike sprang into action, and not only put us in contact with a local lender, but primed him with information about our specific situation and needs so we were able to hit the ground running, ultimately meeting all the deadlines and leading to closing on Friday.
But perhaps the best representation of what Mike means to us is that, as we talked about our search, the home-buying process, and all the things that go along with it, Julie and I would randomly say to each other “Thank goodness we have Mike! He’s absolutely the best and we wouldn’t be able to do this without him!” We will forever be referral sources and references for Mike, but we wanted to be sure others at Jack Lingo were aware of the amazing work he did for us.
