Shirley Kalvinsky was recently awarded the designation "REALTOR Emeritus". This designation is only awarded to REALTORs who have had 40 continuous years in the real estate industry. Also, a nominee must have served in some capacity at the national, state, and local levels of real estate organizations. Shirley has served as President of the New Castle County Board of REALTORS, second vice president of Sussex County Association of REALTORS, and second vice president of Delaware Association of REALTORS. Moreover, she is a former member of the Equal Opportunity Committee of National Association of REALTORS and has served as chair of many of the committees of both state and local real estate associations. She currently serves as a member of Sussex County Association of REALTORS Professional Standards Committee as well as the Strategic Planning Committee of Delaware Association of REALTORS.

Named REALTOR of the Year and Educator of the Year twice, Shirley is also a NAR-trained mediator, and has been awarded the Five Star Professional REALTOR designation for the past several years. She and her business partner, Randy Mason, are continuous "Top Producer" and "Top/Most Transactions" honorees for Jack Lingo, REALTOR, with awards given from 2007 through 2017. She is also a senior certified REALTOR Education Instructor, a member of New Castle County Board of REALTORS Hall of Fame, and a recipient of numerous other REALTOR awards. She publishes articles for the Sussex County Association of REALTORS' monthly newsletter and is a member of the Property Acquisition Committee of Sussex County Habitat For Humanity.
