In keeping with the spirit of #GiveWhereYouLive, our company was proud to organize a local holiday drive for the second year in a row! Last year, our agents and staff were excited to collect food for the Food Bank of Delaware. This year, we proudly supported Toys for Tots, a non-profit created at the behest of the United States Marine Corps to collect new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children during the Christmas season. Due to the economic issues caused by COVID-19 and the subsequent shutdowns, this year support for programs like Toys for Tots is more important than ever!
The Bryce Lingo & Shaun Tull Team, who helped to spearhead our Toys for Tots campaign, stated, “Our team wanted to support our local community as much as possible this year, and organizing this toy drive is just one way we’re giving back. In addition to all of the toys donated, we have received $750 in monetary donations for Toys for Tots. We have been overwhelmed by the support from our agents, clients, and the community.”
Our Rehoboth Beach rental department was also heavily involved in this year's holiday drive. Carol Lynch, REALTOR® and Rehoboth Beach rental agent, maintains, "We are happy to donate to a great organization, Toys for Tots, especially this year with so many more families in need due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope it puts smiles on children’s faces."
