How long have you been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR®?
I started my journey with the Jack Lingo, REALTOR® and the Bryce Lingo & Shaun Tull Team in June 2013.
How did you know that Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for you?
I moved to Jack Lingo, REALTOR® when I decided to make a full-time career change. When considering this path, I knew I needed to be surrounded by seasoned agents who were willing to be my mentors. I was fortunate to obtain a position with one of the most successful teams in Sussex County and forced to immediately jump right in. Bryce and Shaun have provided me with a wealth of knowledge and continuous support in an ever-changing business.
How do you think Jack Lingo, REALTOR® differs from other real estate companies?
Jack Lingo, REALTOR® is a family-run, local company with a true passion for Sussex County. Agents that join Jack Lingo, REALTOR® rarely leave the company, and that speaks volumes. We have a broker that is committed to helping every agent succeed.
When did you know you wanted to work in the real estate industry?
Prior to obtaining my real estate license, I worked with various REALTORS®, brokerages, builders, and local establishments doing freelance marketing. Because I was spending so much time assisting with marketing local real estate and learning more than I ever imagined about the market, I felt it would benefit me to get my real estate license. It started as a part-time supplement. As my business and life changed, it was a natural progression into a full-time position.
What has been your proudest moment at Jack Lingo, REALTOR® so far?
The littlest things make me proud! I am elated when I receive a referral from a past client, receive a card or review complimenting my services, and clearly when I run into a client and they tell me how much they love their home. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing my clients are happy!
How long have you been in the real estate business?
I obtained my real estate license in Summer 2006.
Where did you go to college?
Virginia Tech—Go Hokies!
Reveal one of your hidden talents.
I like to think I have some solid artistic abilities.
Name something you could not live without.
My family and my circle of friends. They all keep life interesting.
What is your favorite hobby?
Aside from my husband and son who are both named "Hobby", I would have to say anything that I can do outside. I love jogging, hiking, biking, snowboarding, cruising around the bay on a boat, and relaxing on the beach—literally, anything that gets me outside.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a fashion designer. My degree is in fashion design and merchandising, and I am pleased to say that I was able to use that degree for several years before switching gears.
If you could build anything, what would it be?
A time machine…
If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why would you go there?
Too many places to list, but my number-one bucket list destination is South Africa. I am obsessed with the landscape, culture, and wildlife.
Who is your personal hero?
My parents for instilling principles of drive, dedication, determination, and respect in my work ethic, and my husband for having those same principles and for helping me see the positive in every situation.
