Tell us a bit about Wash Buggy!
I started Wash Buggy in 1988, and it was at that time a mobile carwashing business. It was very difficult at first getting work in Rehoboth Beach. I finally caught a break when I met Colonel Lingo. We then took off and grew into what we are today. We strive to provide a service as and when promised. Your reputation and your word is all that you have, and we treat every client like our first and only client.
What types of services do you offer your clients, and what makes your company unique?
We offer house washing, window cleaning, and pressure washing. Wash Buggy is unique because we aren’t here to make a bunch of money and run. We are here to be a community member and someone that people can depend on. Additionally, we are a family-owned-and-operated business. My wife, Trish, is the backbone of this company. She makes most of the communications with the clients and handles daily scheduling and estimates. She truly makes it all happen!
Are there any particular issues about which local homeowners should be aware when considering the siding, roof, and other surface maintenance of their property?
Homes here at the beach should be washed yearly, as the salt air really takes a toll on these homes. Roof cleaning is very important because those black streaks are not only ugly, but they are hazardous to your health and deteriorate your shingles.
What would you tell someone who is considering moving to Sussex County, Delaware? What makes our area special?
Definitely make the move! Sussex county has turned into a huge melting pot and you get to meet so many wonderful people from all over!
