Q: How long have you been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR®?

Since October 2023.

Q. How did you know that Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for you?

I knew Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for me because it’s always been such a strong presence in the community. Even before I worked here, I saw their advertising all over the county and associated the brand with trust, experience, and results. They’re the largest brokerage in the area and lead the county in sales, and that kind of track record says a lot about the people and systems behind the scenes.

I was also drawn to the culture and the opportunity to work alongside people I already knew and respected, including joining my father-in-law’s team. It felt like the perfect mix of strong leadership, shared values, and room to grow. Being part of a brokerage that takes so much pride in what they’ve built made the decision feel like an easy one.

Q. How do you think Jack Lingo, REALTOR® differs from other real estate companies?

I think what really sets Jack Lingo, REALTOR® apart is how deeply connected they are to the community. This is a third-generation family business with long-standing ties to the area, and that local history really shows in how they operate. They’ve built strong relationships with local businesses and developers, which gives them a real, on-the-ground understanding of how the market is evolving.

They also represent a large number of the area’s most premier properties, which speaks to the level of trust sellers place in the brand. Unlike many other brokerages, Jack Lingo, REALTOR® isn’t a branch of a national chain—it’s locally owned and operated, and that allows them to stay focused on what matters most to this community. Combined with being the largest brokerage in the county and leading in sales, it creates a level of support and pride that truly sets them apart.

On top of that, they have an unparalleled reach and reputation in the vacation rental market. Their long-standing presence, marketing power, and trusted name give property owners incredible exposure, while renters know they’re working with a company that delivers quality and consistency. That strength in vacation rentals adds another layer to why the Jack Lingo brand is so respected across the entire coastal market.

Q. When did you know you wanted to work in the real estate industry?

I basically grew up in real estate. My parents were residential property investors in Ohio, so much of my childhood was spent at brokerages and banks, often chatting with reception staff while deals were happening. I also had the chance to interact with other industry professionals—repair contractors, appraisers, and lawyers—which gave me an early appreciation for how many different roles come together in real estate. After all that exposure, it felt natural to return to the industry as an adult.

Q. What has been your proudest moment at Jack Lingo, REALTOR® so far?

One of my proudest moments at Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was helping my wife’s grandmother sell her home and move closer to family in South Carolina. It was especially meaningful because of the family connection, and it came with its share of challenges—tight timelines, coordinating the move, and making sure everything went smoothly. I even brought in some extra hands from my mom’s landscaping company to help load the truck! On top of that, I stayed in touch with the buying side throughout the process and got updates on the full transaction, which gave me a complete view of how everything came together. Visiting her recently in her new home and seeing how happy and settled she is made all the effort feel completely worth it.

Q. How long have you been in the real estate business?

2 1/2 years as a realtor.

Q. Where did you go to college?

Delaware Technical & Community College

Q. Reveal one of your hidden talents.

One of my hidden talents is long-distance running. Almost 10 years ago, I ran two marathons! I can’t say I’d tackle that distance today, but I still enjoy running and hope to get back into longer distances in the future.

Q. What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby is spending time on the water. Back in high school, I really enjoyed surfing, mostly at Cape Henlopen State Park with friends. These days, with a busy schedule and unpredictable surf, I’m lucky to get out about once a month—but I still try to make the most of it. I also enjoy stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing whenever I can find the time. Being out on the water is always a great way to relax and recharge.

Q. If you could build anything, what would it be?

If I could build anything, I’d love to create a thoughtfully designed, reasonably priced community. I really appreciate communities that are well-laid-out, efficient, and pleasant to live in—with streets and sidewalks that feel inviting rather than wasted space. Even small lots, like the 50-by-100-foot lots in Rehoboth, could be designed to feel private and comfortable. I think with the right planning and techniques, it’s possible to create a community that’s both beautiful and affordable.
