Q: How long have you been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR®?
14 years.
Q. How did you know that Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for you?
Having used Jack Lingo, REALTOR® to represent my wife Kathie and I on transactions in the past, were were always impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of its agents. When we got our licenses, we felt there was no other choice.
Q. How do you think Jack Lingo, REALTOR® differs from other real estate companies?
I think being a locally-owned, non-franchised company is an important distinction. Additionally, the company is well into its second and heading into its third generation of family ownership, which is a testament to the strength of its management and its agents. Another distinction is the company's long history of philanthropy in Sussex County as Jack Lingo, REALTOR® is often the leading sponsor of fundraisers and charity events throughout the community.
Q. When did you know you wanted to work in the real estate industry?
I was a commercial real estate lender prior to moving here and have invested in real estate for years. Moving into sales was a natural progression for me.
Q. Where did you go to college?
Dickinson College for undergraduate and the College of William and Mary for graduate school.
Q. Name something you could not live without.
My sense of humor and my wife (she made me say that).
Q. What is your favorite hobby?
Playing drums and woodworking.
Q. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a professional drummer, but I didn't want to starve to death, so banking seemed like a good choice.
Q. If you could build anything, what would it be?
A better highway system in Sussex County with synchronized lights on Route 1 or a slice-proof golf ball because mine always goes to the right.
Q. Who is your personal hero?
My father. He was a brilliant, but humble man who had the ability to talk and listen to anyone, regardless of their station in life. He was truly one of a kind.
