How long have you been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR®?

I have been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR® since April 2021.

How did you know that Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for you?

I had a few interviews trying to find the right office and firm for me. I was very pleased from the beginning of the process with the way to which my application was responded. The warm, welcoming, and professional office coordinator, Mark, offered me an experience I did not get in any other offices I visited. My interview with the broker, Susan Mills, was a good indication of how things work around there. She reminded me of other strong women that I have met in my life and from whom I have learned a lot. How you present yourself to anyone who walks through your door or contacts you is very important. For me, Jack Lingo, REALTOR® made a great first impression.

How do you think Jack Lingo, REALTOR® differs from other real estate companies?

Jack Lingo, REALTOR® is a family business built upon their reputation in the community. They have a strong rental department that promotes their name and is a testament to the great services they offer. My husband and I moved out of state for a while and needed to rent our home. We went to a REALTOR® at another firm who tried for two months to get us a tenant before we finally went to Jack Lingo, REALTOR®. Within two weeks, we had a tenant. That’s the difference between a good real estate brokerage who works for their customers and the rest.

What has been your proudest moment at Jack Lingo, REALTOR® so far?

I hosted an open house for one of my broker’s listings and ended up with two offers, one of which was accepted and eventually closed. The house had been on the market for three weeks before that.

Reveal one of your hidden talents.

I can do a lot of handy work. My dad was a carpenter/contractor, and I helped with a lot of his work. I remember clients and neighbors walking into his shop and being very surprised with how much I know and can do. I still take on DIY projects around the house and really enjoy it. It helps with my job as well, because I have a good critical eye that helps my clients.

Name something you could not live without.

Coffee, of course.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a lot of things. I had great academic results but lacked focus. Growing up in Romania, I wanted to be an English teacher, architect, great business woman, or maybe a CEO (haha!), but I never thought of what would really make me happy and fulfilled. Looking back, maybe a school guidance counselor would have helped, but that did not exist back then in Romania.

If you could build anything, what would it be?

A real-life Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
