Q: How long have you been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR®?

August 22nd will be 3 years.

Q. How did you know that Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for you?

Having completed my pre-licensing course, I knew finding the right mentorship would be crucial for my development as a realtor. I explored various brokerages with this in mind. Susan Mills has played an integral role in my growth as a realtor. Her guidance and unwavering support have been invaluable, and I can confidently say that I would not be the agent I am today without her mentorship.

Q. How do you think Jack Lingo, REALTOR® differs from other real estate companies?

What truly distinguishes Jack Lingo from other brokerages is our 50-year legacy of being family-owned. This fosters an environment where decisions genuinely prioritize the well-being of the agents, rather than soley focusing on the financial outcome.

I deeply appreciate being a part of a team that genuinely cares about its people. It makes coming to the office each day a positive experience, with consistent opportunities to learn and grow alongside fellow agents.

Q. When did you know you wanted to work in the real estate industry?

A dear friend suggested that retirement would be a good time for reinvention. In 2019, my husband and I decided to move to Delaware and begin our retirement.

The sale of our previous house turned out to be quite challenging. After a difficult experience with our first realtor, we found another agent to take on the listing. My husband, generally skeptical about realtors, directly asked her what her approach would be. Her response was impressive. She paused, looked him in the eye, and stated that she was committed to actually selling our property and working closely with us throughout the process. And that is precisely what she did.

During the two-year process of selling that property, I learned a great deal and decided to embark on my own reinvention as a realtor.

Q. What has been your proudest moment at Jack Lingo, REALTOR® so far?

OI had the privilege of helping a family of five navigate the process of buying their first home. It was a particularly rewarding experience because English was a significant barrier for them. They were so determined to achieve their American dream, yet they were understandably overwhelmed by the complexities of the home-buying journey.

After several months of searching and overcoming various hurdles, we finally reached the settlement table. Seeing the tears of joy in their eyes at the moment made me incredibly proud to be their REALTOR®.

Q. Where did you go to college?

Towson University.

Q. Reveal one of your hidden talents.

I have a knack for organizing people effectively when it comes to putting on social events, such as large parties and weddings. I can coordinate efforts in a way that ensures everyone feels involved and motivated, rather than manipulated.

Q. Name something you could not live without.

Friends.

Q. What is your favorite hobby?

Cooking or baking elaborate dishes.

Q. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A chef or a baker.

Q. If you could build anything, what would it be?

A gourmet kitchen.

Q. If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why would you go there?

If the Middle East were to achieve a state of peace, I would be incredibly interested in visiting the historical sites.

Q. Who is your personal hero?

My longtime friend Rita is my personal hero. Despite facing heartbreaking experiences, she navigates life with incredible grace and dignity.
