Q: How long have you been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR®?
I have been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR® for 11 years now. I joined the Rehoboth Beach office in May of 2014.
Q. How did you know that Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for you?
My connection at Jack Lingo, REALTOR® goes back generations–my grandfather knew Colonel Jack Lingo many years ago and as a local builder in Sussex County, even helped construct a portion of the original Jack Lingo office building. Because of that history, the company has always felt familiar to me. When I explored joining the team, the small-town, family-oriented environment immediately made it feel like home, and I knew it was the right fit.
Q. How do you think Jack Lingo, REALTOR® differs from other real estate companies?
Jack Lingo, REALTOR® stands out as one of the few remaining family-owned real estate firms at the beach. Our clients value the hands-on, personalized service we provide throughout every transaction. I also appreciate the strong internal support within the company–if I ever need guidance, I have a knowledgeable team to rely on, including the owner, who is in the office and actively involved each day.
Q. When did you know you wanted to work in the real estate industry?
After graduating from college and workin in my family's business, my grandfather encouraged me to pursue something more and suggested real estate. I was 26 at the time. With my mother having been a REALTOR® as well, and fond memories of visiting her office when I was young, the path felt natural and familiar–and that's when I knew real estate was the right direction for me. I also enjoy meeting new people, building long-lasting connections, and helping others discover what makes our beach community such a wonderful place to call home–all of which confirmed that real estate was the right fit for me.
Q. What has been your proudest moment at Jack Lingo, REALTOR® so far?
My proudest moment at Jack Lingo, REALTOR® isn’t a single event — it’s the realization that I’ve built a thriving business through hard work, dedication, and successful sales and listings. Each closing is a reminder of the goals I’ve set and the effort it takes to achieve them. I’m particularly proud of the steady growth of my business, from securing new listings to celebrating successful settlements. Each milestone reflects not only the trust my clients place in me but also my ability to work independently and build a strong, self-sustaining business — which has been incredibly rewarding.
Q. How long have you been in the real estate business?
I am just finishing my 20th year as a full-time sales agent.
Q. Where did you go to college?
I attended Rutgers Univerity in New Brunswick, New Jersey and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies.
Q. Reveal one of your hidden talents.
I would say one of my hidden talents is my creativity, which I’ve applied to a variety of hands-on projects. I enjoy tiling floors, installing fixtures, refinishing and painting furniture, and tackling just about anything around the house. It’s rewarding to see a project through from start to finish and put my personal touch on it.
I also enjoy creating fun marketing ideas for real estate!
Q. Name something you could not live without.
My needs have changed over the past few years. I’ve realized that what I truly cannot live without are my friends and family. Their love, support, and presence give my life meaning and joy. I’m always grateful for the people I have in my life and excited to welcome new connections along the way.
Q. What is your favorite hobby?
My favorite hobby is taking time to relax and enjoy life outside of work. I enjoy quiet moments at home, exploring local shops, walking along the beach, or spending quality time with the people I care about. It’s a chance to recharge and appreciate life’s simple joys.
Q. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
My earliest memory of what I wanted to be is when I was about 8 years old. I was very interested in being a Psychiatrist. My best guess is that I enjoyed talking with people and sharing experiences with them
Q. If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why would you go there?
Visiting Spain had long been on my bucket list, and I was fortunate enough to spend time there a few years ago. My next destinations would likely be France and Italy. Both countries offer incredible cultural experiences, and I would especially love to explore their beautiful coastal regions.
Q. Who is your personal hero?
My personal hero would not be limited to one single person. I admire people who are kind for no reason, generous without wanting anything in return, and people who take them time to help others. These qualities inspire me to approach life and work with empathy and integrity and they remind me that small, selfless actions can make a difference.
Q. What is your favorite quote?
I have many favorite quotes, but the ones I’m most drawn to tend to focus on believing that there is a clear path for me and the importance of moving forward. One that resonates deeply is: “Everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right. Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
