The Lewes Historical Society wishes to thank the Lingo family for a highly generous donation of $125,000. Because of this donation, the Society has been able to meet its fundraising goals for the development of the Lewes History Museum, an educational center that features first-class exhibits, the Children’s Discovery Center, and a special collections gallery. To recognize the Lingo family’s continuing generosity, the Society has named the museum’s temporary exhibit space “The Jack & Peggy Lingo Gallery.”

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Jack Lingo, REALTOR® has sought to celebrate those individuals working hard to keep our community safe and lead Sussex County to collective recovery. For this reason, our company launched our "Local Heroes" campaign, whereby the public could nominate individuals whom they judged deserving of special recognition during this difficult time. In keeping with the spirit of #GiveWhereYouLive, our company was proud to organize a local holiday drive for the second year in a row! Last year, our agents and staff were excited to collect food for the Food Bank of Delaware. This year, we proudly supported Toys for Tots, a non-profit created at the behest of the United States Marine Corps to collect new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children during the Christmas season. Due to the economic issues caused by COVID-19 and the subsequent shutdowns, this year support for programs like Toys for Tots is more important than ever!
