“…This is the second year we have stayed at 23. We fell in love with the house when we first saw it last year. It is so typical of the homes we grew up in and holds a special charm more modern ones can’t touch. We have held family evening talent shows with music, poetry and play readings written by our grandchildren, played games all ages could participate in…Different family members cook the evening meal each night and everyone else joins in setting the table and cleaning up. Stories of family history and daring adventures are shared after days on the beach, bike rides, and shell collecting. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home…”

This home reminded us very much of our grandparents’ homes and served as a wonderful place to spend the week with our children and my parents. The art and furniture are wonderful - the topic of many conversations. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and the beach was lovely – not too crowded a single day. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a comfortable home during our vacation. We hope to return again.

I have been coming to this area for 60 years. We found 23 Beach on-line and it is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed here. I used to come here when I was a child with my parents and grandparents and other family members…My dad would have loved this house especially all the books and pictures.

We are 3 generations…ages 2 to 72. A lovely beautiful week at the beach in your pleasant, comfortable home…So glad the dining room table fit exactly all 8 of us…we loved walking to the beach – being so close and no roads to cross…Our last evening we all went to the beach after dinner, waded in the water and flew kites right at sunset. A magical time! Your home with wonderful old furniture reminds me of my grandfather’s house. Just the right spacious size so all of us could spread out – nap, relax, while the little ones played and laughed. A wonderful vacation – we dearly hope to come back and stay at “23” again. We called it “4th house from the beach.”

…We had a wonderful week in your charming beach home. We loved the antique furniture and enjoyed seeing the history in the photos. We made much use from the enclosed porch and deck off the master. We hail from western Howard County, Maryland and have been coming to Dewey for 14 years. Our first stay in North Indian Beach was a joy! We love the private beach and proximity to all Dewey has to offer. We hope to make this our new stable vacation spot for years to come until we become Delaware property owners ourselves.
