Located in the Ocean Block just 6 doors to the life guarded beach, the Oak Cottage sleeps 10 guests in 4 Bedrooms and has 3 Full Bathrooms. The Oak Cottage and The Pines Cottage, next door, can be rented together for larger family vacations. This 1926 historic cottage and its' guest cottage have been remodeled and redecorated to provide modern comfort in a charming setting. The darling Main Cottage has 3 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms, and the Guest Cottage has 1 large Bedroom and 1 Full Bathroom. Bedroom 1 has one Queen bed with Beach Bungalow linens and Bedroom 2 has one Queen bed with Laura Ashley linens. These 2 bedrooms share a private full bathroom with tiled shower. Bedroom 3 is a Primary Bedroom with one Queen bed, Ralph Lauren linens and lamps, a TV and a private full bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 4 is in the well loved Guest Cottage. It has two Full beds with beautiful bedspreads, matching curtains, a TV and a private full bathroom with a tiled shower, an antique ball and claw soaking tub, a vanity with a gorgeous vessel sink, makeup table and private water closet. The Guest Cottage also has a coffee bar with a granite island, decorator sink, microwave and under counter refrigerator. In the Main Cottage, the Living Room and Dining Room are open concept with a decorative fireplace, rattan furniture, designer fabrics, a desk and a nice collection of books in the built in cupboards. The Kitchen has been completely remodeled and is fully equipped with Fisher Paykel appliances, granite countertops, lighting, lovely "Pistoulet" dishes, glasses, barware, Lenox Flatware, cookware, Keurig and traditional coffee makers, pantry cabinet and more. The Screened Porch is one of the larger porches in Rehoboth Beach and wraps two sides of the Main Cottage. Beautifully furnished for relaxation, it has plenty of comfortable wicker, rattan and wrought iron seating, decorator fabric cushions and a large TV. The Porch Dining Table seats 6 and there is an additional table that seats 4 for dining, playing games and putting puzzles together. Guests will enjoy having a full size, stacked washer and dryer. The Deck leads from the Kitchen to a large furnished Patio with a dining table and 4 chairs, 2 benches, 2 Adirondack chairs, and cocktail tables. Grill steaks on the Charcoal Grill in a private, fenced garden setting that is illuminated in the evening by landscape lighting. The double size, outdoor shower has 2 shower heads with hot and cold water. There is a clothesline for hanging sandy beach towels and bathing suits. Situated on two and a half lots (100 & 39 x 122 & 39), the fenced yard is huge. The Main Cottage and the Guest cottage both have central heating and air conditioning. The Main Cottage has real hardwood floors, and the Guest Cottage has tile flooring. Rentals are available for as few as 2 nights in the Spring and Fall and by the week in the Summer, from Friday to Friday, with Check-in at 4:00 pm and Check-out at 10:00 am. There is off street parking for 2 cars, and 2 seasonal parking permits are provided for on street parking. Linen Information , Kitchen Tea Towels and Dish Towels, Bedspreads, Pillows, Pillow Protectors, Mattress Pads and Mattress Protectors are provided as part of your rental. We do not provide linen service. Guests have the option to bring linens or rent linens locally. There are 3 queen beds and 2 full beds. Guests bring their own Beach Towels. Beach Chairs and Umbrellas can be rented on the beach between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Supplies provided , Starter rolls of Paper Towels, 1 roll of Toilet Paper in each Bathroom, 1 set of Trash/Recycling Bags, Laundry Detergent, Glass Top Range Cleaner, Dish Washing Liquid, Dishwasher Detergent, Brillo, 1 Sponge, Hand Soap in each Bathroom, Charcoal, Lighter Fluid, Grill Utensils, Broom, Dust Pan, Mop, Bucket and Replacement Light Bulbs.
