Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® was a proud sponsor of the Lucy Crowe “Run For The Paws” 2017 Seashore Striders 5K & 1-Mile Pet Walk. This event took place in August 2017.
The event was a huge success, raising $7,500.00. Funds were split and directed to Grass Roots Rescue & Brandywine Valley SPCA in Delaware.
According to Cheryl Crowe (event organizer and REALTOR® with Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR®), “This event continues to grow. We have local participants as well as participants that plan their vacations around this event. We are thankful to all of our sponsors and to the many participants that support our cause.”

The agents and staff at Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® are very proud of the Lingo Family for the family's recent recognition by the Sussex County Association of REALTORS (SCAOR) at Sussex Strong Foundation Annual Gala.
The SCAOR Community Service Foundation's 2017 Humanitarian Award was presented to the Lingo family in honor of the late Colonel Jack Lingo. This award was presented on account of the family's long-time support and commitment to SCOAR Community Service Foundation as well as to the citizens of Sussex County, Delaware.
This award recognizes individuals and organizations whose service to the community exemplifies both social responsibility as well as the charitable purposes of the foundation.
Bill Lingo, broker of record at Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR®, accepted this award on the behalf of the Lingo family. Bill stated, “On the behalf of our company, my agents, and my staff, we are so proud to be a part of the “Sussex Strong” organization. Now in its 44th year, the Rehoboth Art League's Outdoor Fine Art & Fine Craft Show was underwritten by Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR®, a proud supporter of the art league for five generations. The show was held Fridays and Saturdays, August 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2017.

Since 1973, the Outdoor Art Show has been held on the art league's historic grounds in Henlopen Acres, Delaware, just outside of Rehoboth Beach city limits. This year, the 44th Annual Outdoor Show continued some longtime traditions while also offering new amenities.
Beyond the exquisite artwork which the event brought to Rehoboth Beach, this art showcase event offered attendees live music, artwork demos, children's activities, face painting, and indoor/outdoor seating to enjoy delicious food by Nage and The Point. Beverages were served courtesy of Dogfish Head Brewery. The Rehoboth Art League provided complimentary transportation to and from the event via the Jolly Trolley Shuttle.

Showfield, Coastal Delaware's newest luxury community east of coastal highway, hosted a builders' showcase tour on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
The Carrie Lingo Team of Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® coordinated the event and hosted the builders' showcase tour. According to Carrie Lingo, REALTOR®, "Showfield is an iconic 132-acre community along Gills Neck Road in Lewes, Delaware, which will feature 166 building lots for custom homes with no builder tie-in. Phase one is 90% SOLD OUT. While touring, our guests at the showcase tour were able to walk through selected model homes in the community while enjoying light fare and music. Also open to tour were the community clubhouse, outdoor resort-style pool, and fitness center. Showfield also features walking trails, a border with the Junction & Breakwater Trail, and the beautiful 16-acre natural Whites Pond."

Susan was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and vacationed for many years at the Delaware beach resorts. Realizing a dream to live closer to the beach, she moved to Sussex County, Delaware over 30 years ago and has been enjoying the excellent quality of life this region has to offer. Susan has been a licensed REALTOR® for over 25 years working in both rentals and real estate sales. She started working with Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR'S® Rehoboth Beach rental office over 20 years ago. "A lot has changed over 20 years," she says, "The Rehoboth Beach rental office had a smaller group of people back then. The Delaware rental market has expanded from summer rentals to a more year-round beach rental experience with the increase of events and attractions. One thing that hasn't changed: Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® is still the leader in the rental and sales markets." Susan's real estate career expanded when she left the Rehoboth Beach rental office and moved into real estate sales. "I enjoyed working in Rehoboth Beach. I found my clientele was located coastal, and also increasing inland. I remember vividly Bill Lingo (company president and broker of record) calling a little over ten years ago to say, 'We have made the decision to reopen the Millsboro office.' The Millsboro office operates under Bill's sage advice: 'One foot in front of the other and keep moving forward!'"
The Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® Millsboro office began its first transitions with rentals and then real estate sales. According to Susan, "We expected the real estate market to recover, and it did. We continue to increase our real estate market share inland successfully. In 2016, our Millsboro office increased our number of closed transactions 23% over 2015. We look forward to increasing these numbers even further as the region continues to flourish." Susan is the past recipient of the Sussex County Association of REALTORS (SCAOR) and Delaware Association of REALTORS (DAR) Sales Person of the Year awards and SCAOR President's Award. She is the broker of record for the Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® office in Millsboro. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise with other REALTORS® by teaching real estate continuing education and wants to help others realize their dream of property ownership whether for primary, secondary, or investment purposes. She maintains, "Honesty and integrity in relationships are of primary importance." Susan's designations include Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Short Sale and Foreclosure Certification (SFR).
