Q: How long have you been with Jack Lingo, REALTOR®?

I have worked as an agent with Jack Lingo, REALTOR® since 2010, starting as an admin, working as a team contract manager, and now working as an independent agent.

Q. How did you know that Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for you?

I knew Jack Lingo, REALTOR® was the right fit for me because I felt welcomed, supported and valued by everyone since the day I started. Setting and achieving my professional and personal goals would not have been possible without the structure and support the brokerage offers, along with prominent and continued community involvement.

Q. How do you think Jack Lingo, REALTOR® differs from other real estate companies?

Being a Delaware native, it was important for me to connect with a company that also had strong roots within the community. Jack Lingo, REALTOR® embraces long-term business relationships and fosters an environment where everyone is family.

Q. How long have you been in the real estate business?
I began working as a marketing coordinator back in 2007 with ResortQuest in Bethany Beach. I have always had an interest in real estate and went on to obtain my license and work with Jack Lingo, REALTOR® in Rehoboth. Since then, I have become a certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert.

Q. Where did you go to college?
I attended Wesley College, where I earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I went on to attend the University of Delaware, completing undergraduate studies in mass communications. After serving as Miss Delaware, I pursued an MBA at Wilmington University. My educational background has benefited me in many situations when working with clients in various situations, including contract negotiations.

Q. Reveal one of your hidden talents.
Juggling and singing showtunes.

Q. What is your favorite hobby?
I have many hobbies. Choosing a favorite is difficult, but it would likely be sewing.

Q. If you could take a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why would you go there?

I have a perpetual desire to help wherever I go, so I would take a trip to Australia in the hopes of assisting with wildlife rescue and care due to recent brush fires.

The Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation’s annual Winter Jam fundraiser is scheduled for 7 to 11 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Rusty Rudder, 113 Dickinson St., Dewey Beach.

All funds raised will benefit educational programs for the more than 5,500 students in the Cape Henlopen School District, including teacher grants for unbudgeted classroom projects; support for homeless and limited income students; science, technology, engineering and math initiatives; performing arts education and training; and programs to promote diversity and inclusion.

“Winter Jam has become an annual reunion event for Cape region community members and educators.” said CHEF President Rick Grier-Reynolds, who has been involved with CHEF since its inception in 2006. “It’s our major annual fundraiser and supports educational enrichment programs which — given cuts in state funding — wouldn’t happen without community support.”

Other sponsors to date who gave $1,000 or more include Jack Lingo Realtor; Richard Y Johnson & Son Inc.; Dogfish Head Brewery; ABHA Architects; Morris James LLP; L & W Insurance; Nickle Electrical Companies; Davis, Bowen & Friedel Inc.; Johnson Orthodontics; Hertrich Toyota; Baker Petroleum; Assurance Media; Walmart; Young, Conway, Stargatt and Taylor LLP; Bear Industries Inc.; WRDE; and The Carl M Freeman Foundation.
