From January 1, 2019 to September 1, 2019, Jack Lingo, REALTOR’S® market share of Sussex County, Delaware residential real estate sales of properties between $1 million and $10 million was more than double that of its closest competitor. In the first quarter of 2019, Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® maintained dominance as the #1 locally owned real estate company in Sussex County. From January through March, our brokerage maintained a 13.6% market share in residential real estate dollar volume in Sussex County. This is a higher percentage than that of any of our competitors. We surpassed $100 million in total residential sales in the first quarter of 2019.
Our performance in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach, when viewed separately, is even more impressive. In the first quarter of 2019, we maintained a 28.6% market share in residential real estate dollar volume in the 19958 (Lewes) and 19971 (Rehoboth Beach) zip codes. This percentage is more than double that of any of our competitors. In the first quarter of 2019, we boasted over $90 million in residential sales in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach.
Our numbers demonstrate that "Listing with Lingo" means choosing the best of the best. By maintaining the most impressive residential real estate sales numbers in Sussex County, we have once again proven ourselves to be the optimal brokerage for buying and selling Coastal Delaware homes.
On Saturday, April 6, Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® sponsored the Southern Delaware Oysterfest at the Beacon Motel in Lewes. This fun-filled benefit was held in order to celebrate two of Delaware's most important non-profits, Delaware Wild Lands, Inc. and The Greater Lewes Foundation. The Oysterfest was a brilliant success and attracted more than 175 visitors. A number of organizations and individuals participated in making the event a hit, including Pig and Publican, JG Townsend Jr. and Co., Bin 66 Wine and Spirits, Dogfish Head Brewery, Delaware Center for the Inland Bays, DJ Justin Darling, Electric Velvet, Dover Tents and Events, Grand Rental Station, Big Oyster Brewery, Fins Hospitality Group, decorating-team leader Debra Fischer, and a number of awesome volunteers! The shuckers worked non-stop, the music played dynamically, and the sun shone brightly. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate two amazing organizations!
