Showfield, Coastal Delaware's newest luxury community east of coastal highway, hosted a builders' showcase tour on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
The Carrie Lingo Team of Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® coordinated the event and hosted the builders' showcase tour. According to Carrie Lingo, REALTOR®, "Showfield is an iconic 132-acre community along Gills Neck Road in Lewes, Delaware, which will feature 166 building lots for custom homes with no builder tie-in. Phase one is 90% SOLD OUT. While touring, our guests at the showcase tour were able to walk through selected model homes in the community while enjoying light fare and music. Also open to tour were the community clubhouse, outdoor resort-style pool, and fitness center. Showfield also features walking trails, a border with the Junction & Breakwater Trail, and the beautiful 16-acre natural Whites Pond."

Susan was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and vacationed for many years at the Delaware beach resorts. Realizing a dream to live closer to the beach, she moved to Sussex County, Delaware over 30 years ago and has been enjoying the excellent quality of life this region has to offer. Susan's real estate career expanded when she left the Rehoboth Beach rental office and moved into real estate sales. "I enjoyed working in Rehoboth Beach. I found my clientele was located coastal, and also increasing inland. I remember vividly Bill Lingo (company president and broker of record) calling a little over ten years ago to say, 'We have made the decision to reopen the Millsboro office.' The Millsboro office operates under Bill's sage advice: 'One foot in front of the other and keep moving forward!'"
The Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® Millsboro office began its first transitions with rentals and then real estate sales. According to Susan, "We expected the real estate market to recover, and it did. We continue to increase our real estate market share inland successfully. In 2016, our Millsboro office increased our number of closed transactions 23% over 2015. We look forward to increasing these numbers even further as the region continues to flourish." Susan is the past recipient of the Sussex County Association of REALTORS (SCAOR) and Delaware Association of REALTORS (DAR) Sales Person of the Year awards and SCAOR President's Award. She is the broker of record for the Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® office in Millsboro. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise with other REALTORS® by teaching real estate continuing education and wants to help others realize their dream of property ownership whether for primary, secondary, or investment purposes. Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR® was a proud Malbec Sponsor of the Inaugural Taste of Sposato 5K Wine Run/Walk which took place Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Sposato Landscape and Irrigation Company in Milton, Delaware.
The event raised funds for the Sposato Scholarship Fund, which benefits students entering the landscape and ornamental horticulture associates degree program at Delaware Technical Community College.
Participants received a wine glass, "swag bag", awards, and complimentary food and drinks.

Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR'S® Summer 2016 Instagram Contest will end, Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2016.
Launched the first week of June, this year’s contest winner will receive an extended weekend stay in an oceanfront, boardwalk home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. They will also have the chance to have their photo on the cover of Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR'S® rental marketing brochures/catalogs.
"There is still time to participate!", said Karen Falk, Director of Marketing and Communications with Jack Lingo, Inc., REALTOR®.
According to the contest rules, participants are invited to share their fun and unique images while enjoying their time in Coastal Delaware.
Photos must be shared on the Lingo Instagram page, @JackLingoREALTOR, and they must type and hashtag "#LINGOGRAM" in the content.
Participants must follow the company’s Instagram page and tag @JackLingoREALTOR in their posted image.
The grand prize winner will be chosen by Friday, September 9, 2016.

Truckin' Tuesday is held every second and fourth Tuesday evening over the summer. Join the fun as a convoy of food trucks pulls into the historic town center!
A variety of foods will be offered, ranging from Indonesian delicacies to traditional summer burgers and dogs.
The twice-monthly event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Lydia B. Cannon Museum at the corner of Union and Magnolia Streets. The festivities will include live music and Milton’s own Dogfish Head Brewery beers.
