Founded in 1962, the Lewes Historical Society has contributed much to the preservation of Lewes’s local architecture, culture, and history. The Society’s upcoming exhibit, “17 Men: Portraits of Black Civil War Soldiers”, will open on February 12, 2021. This exhibit will celebrate the research and art of Michigan-based medical illustrator Shayne Davidson.
Because of its deep roots in Lewes, the Lingo family possesses a singular appreciation for the rich cultural history of the area and is proud to continuously support the work of the Lewes Historical Society.
